ghd was looking to find an agency who would breathe new life and a new sense of excitement into their current product and e-commerce site. As ghd is a well established and primarily well thought of brand within the hair-styling world, we were amazed at how many personal users blogged, tweeted, updated and videoed themselves using and espousing the greatness of ghd products.
This currently existing enthusiasm was ripe for use in a more dynamic content-based site; content being provided by users, fashion/beauty editors and even professional hairstylists themselves. Along with some great apps both on the site and for the iPad, a personalised content sorting function and constant input from professionals and fans alike, we felt this was the best way for ghd to really own hair styling in the online sphere.
